Have you ever wanted to work for yourself, have a flexible schedule and do the work you’re most passionate about?  That was me, from the time I started working at 16 years old.  Then life happened, I got married and had a family, and found a great job at CDPS Inc. in Milford Ohio.  I wasn’t working for myself, but they allowed me to have a flexible schedule around my baby and it all fell into place.  I was comfortable and happy for 22 years.  But the yearning to work for myself was still there.

In 2018 the owner of CDPS, Ron Edwards, sadly passed away and his family decided to sell the business, and I had a big decision to make.  I took a leap and bought the business and went from long time employee to business owner; literally overnight.

 For 4 years I tried to “wear all the hats”, manage every part of running the business, without any real knowledge of how a business actually runs.  Sure, I knew the work!  After 22 years I was pretty solid on the actual work.  But there are a lot of moving parts to owning a business!  After struggling – and nearly failing – for 4 years, I finally figured it out.

The secret is don’t try to do it all yourself!  Seems like that should not have taken 4 years to figure out.  Out of the pain and stress came an idea to help other entrepreneurs and small business owners save themselves from going through the “growing pains” that I had to experience. 

And Willow Business Management was born!
